Butterton Moor Loft

Butterton Moor Loft is the larger of the two self-catering holiday cottages and is attached to the main house. Once upon a time it housed milking parlours and hay lofts, but is now an extremely spacious luxurious cottage, sleeping 7 adults comfortably.

The attractive country style kitchen is really well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board.

The very large living room, with 2 large sofas, has a CD player, Freeview television with DVD player and a selection of DVDs. There are always magazines and books for you to read too.

There is a very spacious double bedroom with king-sized bed, a second bedoom sleeping 4 people and with an en-suite bathroom. A further walk through bedroom has a single bed. The large family bathroom has a bath and separate shower.

For larger families or groups both cottages can comfortably accommodate 11 guests between the 2 cottages . For parties other than family groups please contact us to discuss before booking.

The kitchen in the Loft is large enough to seat at least 10 guests around the table, allowing larger groups who have booked both properties to eat together.

"The worst thing about staying here is having to go home! Walking - Hartington - 8.5 miles, Ilam - 10 miles, the Roaches - 2mile & climbing v. beautiful. Cycling - Manifold Trail 15 miles. Alton Towers for the older boys, Drayton Manor Park for the younger ones. Heights of Abraham good too. Ate 3 times at the Greyhound - good food & v. friendly. Pool appreciated at the end of busy days - the 2 cottages great for family get-together."
